Books are the most important source in the library collections. At present the library has about 22000 books, compared with only 9000 books in 1991, of which 35 per cent are in Arabic and 65 per cent in English. We have two types of resources, Printed and Electronic resources . for the electronic resources please refer to our :Online Databases & Our Catalogue

The majority of the books are textbooks and range in intellectual level from school to university.   There are also general encyclopedias, language dictionaries and atlases.

The library subscribes to a number of Arabic and English periodicals These journals are indexed and more than 11000 titles of important pertinent articles are made available to users on an Excel database. Also, we have subscribed to group of electronic resources such as AskZad and ProQuest. please refer to our: Online Databases

The library has been developing a video collection which stands now at very special collections covering various subjects. The library is seeking to develop and update these collections with the needs of Library`s users.

The library contains a valuable collection of Thesis & Dissertations, which are in different scientific degrees between the master and doctoral degrees. In addition, the Library has subscribed to the ProQuest Thesis & Dissertations. please refer to our ProQuest Dissertations & Thesis

The library provides a number of official newspapers, and is displayed in the periodicals section. They are made available to the public directly. For the electronic resources please check out our ProQuest Middle East Newsstand.
